So, I’m not even going to try and explain why I’ve been away because everyone knows its either school, or homework, or something similar. So, our exams are coming up and I’m just preparing, but I have some content that I’ve made a while back that I though I should finally put up, so here it is.

Well, I’m sixteen. Strangely enough, I don’t feel very different.
Anyways, thank you for all those who wished me a happy birthday. I appreciate it.
So, as I keep saying, I’ve been really busy with school, so I haven’t exactly had time to post or reply to comments; however for this post, my inspiration actually comes from school. In English, we’re reading Animal Farm, by George Orwell, a story that tells of animals rebelling against humans. It alludes to the Russian Revolution, and showcases the injustice that happens in this world. While reading this book, I began to wonder, is there ever a case where man hasn’t been a burden?
In just the last 200 years, man has brought the earth to its knees; we’ve almost emptied the earth of its resources. Oil prices are rising because there’s so little left; gold is valuable because it is not abundant. Soon water will be scare, and we will be paying hefty prices just to be able to drink water. I’m not too sure about other countries, but here in Australia Mount Franklin and Pump water is owned by the coco-cola company. Coco-Cola has bought a water reserve here in Australia and bottles its water using that. It may seem harmless now, but in 200 years or so, when we need water, we’re going to be buying back the water that we sold to these big business owners. What seems harmless now, will probably cause our doom in the future. Read the rest of this entry »
